Instructions
Shake the bottle well before opening. Place a few drops of CBD oil under your tongue & hold for at least 60 seconds before swallowing, or until the oil has fully absorbed. The quicker you swallow, the less likely you are to receive the benefits of the CBD oil! The pippette is marked to easily denote how much CBD oil you are consuming.
For best results, take daily. As with any supplement, consistency is key for success. Avoid touching dropper to mouth to preserve the quality of your hemp extract oil.
The colour of hemp extract CBD oil can vary from batch to batch. Charlotte’s Web products do not use any additives or dyes to standardise the colour of the products. The CBD oil is kept natural, the way nature intended. Store at room temperature away from light. Do not use if pregnant or breast feeding. What is CBD oil? CBD is short for cannabidiol. It is a cannabinoid found in hemp and known for supporting body and mind in many ways. CBD specifically comes from the flowers and leaves of the hemp plant. (Not to be confused with oil from hemp seeds, which contain negligible levels of cannabinoids.)
The usual CBD formulation is oil, but it is also available as an extract, a vaporised liquid, capsules and gummies. Food, drinks and beauty products are among the many CBD-infused products on the market too.
How do I use CBD oil?
CBD oils are usually made from blend of hemp extract combined with a carrier oil such as olive oil. They come in a small dropper style bottles of varying strengths and are best used sublingually, by dropping the oil under your tongue and letting it absorb directly into your bloodstream.
How much oil does the dropper hold?
The dropper on all 30mL bottles holds 0.5mL of full spectrum Hemp Extract Oil
The dropper on all 100mL bottles holds 1mL of full spectrum Hemp Extract Oil
Dropper use: Gently squeeze the rubber end and release. The dropper will be half full which indicates a “full dropper” (Oil will not fill the entire dropper).
What is the difference between CBD oil and hemp extract?
Hemp extract and cannabidiol (CBD) are different. To further explain, full-spectrum hemp extract is a concentrated form of the hemp plant and has all the components it had, in a concentrated form. CBD is one component of the hemp plant known as a phyto–cannabinoid. Our Charlotte’s Web proprietary hemp is naturally high in CBD. For example, the Original Formula has approximately 86 mg of hemp extract per mL. Of the 86 mg of hemp extract, we guarantee that at least 50 mg is CBD per 1 mL.
Here is a breakdown of Charlotte’s Web products:
7 mg CBD per 1 mL oil contains at least 11 mg of hemp extract per mL. Of the 11 mg of full-spectrum hemp extract, you will receive at least 7 mg of CBD per serving.
17 mg CBD per 1 mL oil contains at least 28 mg of hemp extract per mL. Of the 28 mg of full-spectrum hemp extract, you will receive at least 17 mg of CBD per serving.
Original Formula (50mg) oil contains at least 86 mg of hemp extract per mL. Of the 86 mg of full-spectrum hemp extract, you will receive at least 50 mg of CBD per serving.
60 mg CBD per 1 mL oil contains at least 120 mg of hemp extract per mL. Of the 120 mg of full-spectrum hemp extract, you will receive at least 60 mg of CBD per serving.
15 mg CBD Oil Liquid Capsules contain at least 24 mg hemp extract which includes at least 15 mg of CBD per capsule.
25 mg CBD Oil Liquid Capsules contain at least 40 mg hemp extract which includes at least 25 mg of CBD per capsule.

I tried this strength the first time, then switched to the 60mg which was way too much for me. I’ve switched back to the 17 mg and it seems to be my sweet spot. I take it in the morning and at night. It takes the edge off everyday life. I feel as though my blood pressure has come down and I can definitely say I sleep more soundly now.

I chose the oil because it seemed to be the easiest way to control how much I take. I have worked up over time to two full droppers a day (17mg). I started with a half dropper for 4 days and went up an additional half dropper every 4 days until I was at the dosage recommended on the bottle.
