WEB SITE ON HOLD

Unfortunately we have to inform you we are withdrawing the current Savage Cabbage range from the market, due to its removal from the FSA’s Novel Foods List. We hope this is a temporary situation and we are working at the highest level to reverse this decision.

Our commitment to safety and efficacy has always our been our overriding priority, a fact that is reflected in the loyalty of you our valued customer. We are deeply disappointed by this development and can only apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

There remains uncertainty around why the FSA has specifically taken this action against Savage Cabbage, however we know it relates to the level of THC within CBD products which in turn is a matter that is being considered by the Home Office. Whilst the Home Office are working on a revision to the regulation (as the current one is considered ‘not fit for purpose’) the FSA agreed to not ‘proactively’ remove any brand from the list as such a move would effectively make all ‘full spectrum’ products non-compliant. The regulation in question refers to 1mg THC per container (commonly considered to be the ‘consumer unit’ 30ml bottle etc). Just to mention, none of the Savage Cabbage products exceed 0.2% THC which is the legal limit for hemp cultivation in the UK.

As mentioned, we are actively working to address this issue and will keep you informed once we have a resolution. In the meantime, if you have valued the benefits of our full spectrum products (including the THC component) you may wish to explore your suitability for medical cannabis, please visit the link: https://lumirclinic.co.uk/

As you can imagine the whole Savage Cabbage team is devastated but we are going to try and carry on fighting the FSA ruling.
